‘Nuclear Colonialism and Ecocide in Environmental Humanities Today’
Nuclear terrorism and colonialism are intertwined in time and space: from the environmental disaster at the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant to the occupation of the Zaporizhzhia station and constant nuclear blackmail. On 6 July, we will discuss both the contemporary ecocide currently being committed by Russia and the crimes of Soviet modernity against the environment.
